Explosive Mechanics is a training facility which thrives on results, using experience and science. In the dictionary "mechanics" is a branch of applied mathematics dealing with motion and tendencies to motion when subjected to forces or displacements, and the method of construction or routine operation of a thing. Explosive describes the type of motions (mechanics) we are trying to create. In the logo, there is a barbell between "Explosive" and "Mechanics" because strength (if developed properly) is the connecting link for explosive movement.

Individualized group training with a direct focus on creating explosive power. The goal of Explosive Mechanics is to make all athletes stronger, faster, and more powerful. We believe in developing the complete athlete not just an aspect here and there.

At Explosive Mechanics training is not based on one’s perception. We know what you need and do not try to sell ourselves on the popularity of the latest fad. Training is a process, and different qualities take time to develop. Training is comprised of many different methods backed by science, set up in a methodological approach to help athletes reach a given goal. If an athlete tries to develop a quality without developing the necessary strengths for that quality he or she will fail.

Being in a weight class at your high school is ok, but more often than not it is a one fits all type of training. Progress is not constantly monitored, individual differences are not taken into account, and specific strengths are not being developed. We keep all training records and have specialized equipment to help athletes reach specific goals.

We are trying to help our athletes make it to the next level and receive athletic scholarships. We are not a quick fix facility. We need determination and dedication because it takes more than a month to become the best.
