Explosive Mechanics is a results oriented athletic training facility which strives to get the best results around. We have trained 8 world record holders for various powerlifting organizations. We average a three and a half tenth of a second improvement on 40 yard dash times. One Explosive Mechanics trained athlete won best running back award for a national combine. We have also trained a baseball player who ran one of the fastest 60 yard dash times ever recorded at a MLB Pro Workout. We have also trained state 4A volleyball player of the year. At Explosive Mechanics we offer a state of the art training program for speed, strength, and conditioning according to sport. Our training is comprised of many different training methods backed by science, set up in a methodological approach to help our athletes reach a given goal. Our facility is nothing fancy. We have what we need to improve our athletes’ performance -- not a lot of high tech, unused equipment. We train in groups ranging from 4 to 12. Many may say they know what we do and they practice some of the things we do, but more often than not they have no understanding of the intricacies, when to use certain methods or how to load the methods being used. In other words we have a process of how and when we use certain methods to prevent our athletes from plateauing. If one continues to use many methods or one method with no set plan or process he or she will fail.

Founded by Jared Bidne, CSCS, Explosive Mechanics is a results-driven athletic training center built with one thing in mind: Improve Athletic Performance.

Jared is the owner and only trainer at Explosive Mechanics. Jared is a performance enhancement specialist who earned his Bachelor of Science, concentrating in Exercise Science/Human Performance at the University of Memphis. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, USA Weightlifting Club Coach, and CPR certified.

Jared has worked in the Human Performance Lab at the University of Memphis. He has given scientific presentations at national conferences for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Jared has also given a presentation on strength training methods for the Georgia Strength Coaches Association. Jared played high school football and carried football onto college, where he played for the University of Memphis. While at Memphis, he lettered in football, qualified for the collegiate weightlifting championships for the Olympic lifts, and was awarded the Iron Tiger award for outstanding achievement in the weight room. Jared has lived the lifestyle of an athlete.

Jared continues to research the methods that produce the quickest and/or best results for athletes. He has trained with some of the most famous strength coaches -- Louie Simmons and Ben Green, to name a few.  He is very passionate about athletic performance. His training style is backed by science and real world results, and carries the attitude, if an athlete trains with him, he or she WILL get results.
