Our Programs

Speed, Agility, Jumping, and Strength are all apart of the Explosive Mechanics training. Explosive Mechanics will specify for the athlete what percent of strength or explosive work the athlete will perform based on his or her abilities.

Explosive Mechanics is NOT a one fits all type of training. Technique reps and sets are constantly being adjusted based on strengths and weaknesses of the athlete. We train athletes of all ages in a variety of sports, including football, volleyball, baseball, basketball, softball, soccer, track, golf, and lacrosse. Combine Preparation is the only thing not included as part of the normal program, you must specify.

One on one training is not available, however each athlete’s program is individualized and adjusted to reach specific goals. High School Males train together, High School Females train together, and Kids train with together. Sports can vary among the males, females, and kids as long as the athletes train with the appropriate group.

Explosive Mechanics training is based on science, proven results, and methods. We train our athletes to be very explosive using heavy weight, light weight, and no weight. The end result is an unparalleled level of physical and mental development.

All athletes will lift weights. Maximum strength is a prerequisite for high movement speed. The best athletes are both strong and fast. At Explosive Mechanics all aspects of training are performed - Speed, Strength, and Power resulting in complete athletic development.

SPEED and AGILITY (part of overall training)

Explosive Mechanics speed training is broken up into different phases. The athlete’s sporting season and physical abilities will determine which phase the athlete will take part in during the training process. A technical change can result in an immediate increase, but for a continual increase one must follow a properly developed program consisting of strength and explosive training.

STRENGTH AND POWER (combined with overall training)

Strength is the base for athletic movements, the bigger the base, the higher the potential. Maximum strength is a prerequisite for explosive movements. Some athletes will go through several phases before specific sporting exercises will be implemented. The athlete will only be as solid as his or her base.

We continually monitor and adjust your program and technique for your needs. Maximum progress cannot be done effectively without proper ongoing assessments and technique changes.

We are here trying to help others receive athletic scholarships, not a temporary fix that will return to baseline levels when training is stopped.

JUMP TRAINNG (part of overall training)

Jumping ability is determined by your level of strength and rate of force development. Technical changes can result in an immediate increase, but for a continual increase one must follow a program consisting of strength and explosive training. Explosive Mechanics trains numerous athletes from all over the state who have been specifically identified for their talents on the court and on the field.

COMBINE PREPARATION (must specify if this is what you need)

Explosive Mechanics has produced extraordinary results with our athletes over the years. With our combine preparation, athletes will learn not only technique for the drills, but will also learn test rules and how to take the test for optimum results. Explosive Mechanics athletes will learn techniques for the: 40-yard dash, 60-yard dash, vertical jump, 20-yd shuttle (5-10-5), 3-cone drill (L-Drill), broad jump, and the bench press rep test. WE have had athletes win national combines and run some of the fastest times recorded.
